• We use Horween Chromexcel steer hide to make our Garden Tool Belts. This luxurious leather is tanned by the Horween Company in Chicago, one of the oldest continuously-operating tanneries in the USA.

• Chromexcel leather is a combination vegetable/chrome tan, and is stuffed with a proprietary blend of oils. The leather is naturally water resistant, and is the perfect choice for a product that will need to withstand heavy use in tough conditions!
  

• We use solid brass buckles, o-rings, and rivets, which will age beautifully and take on a lovely patina over time.
